My character is one seldom seen in films or television: a trans father who joins his troubled son on a journey of heartache and discovery through the South.
Being cast in my first major movie role at the age of 62 is a proud accomplishment. And not a little scary. This first visit with the movie's cast, crew and director, on my very first trip down to Atlanta, proved to be fun and encouraging. I cannot wait to begin shooting!
